There Are 3 Ways You Can Open a Support Ticket With CHIPS:

  1. Send an email to IThelpdesk@ProfessionalPT.com and a ticket will be generated
  2. Access our Portal and create a ticket via http://connect.chipstechnologygroup.com/support or access the above link from our website
  3. For urgent issues please call, 516-714-2200 or 833-225-5099
  • Your First + Last Name
  • Ticket Number – If You Have an Existing Ticket
  • Explanation of Problem You are Experiencing
  • Impact of Problem (affecting single user or multiple users?)

In the event a technician will need to access your computer to provide remote support we will need to know the name of your computer

  • To find the name of your computer you will need to click “Home” from the ribbon
  • You can identify your computer name by hovering your mouse over our icon
  • Windows users can see the shield icon with the red “C” in the lower right-hand side of the desktop near your clock. If you don’t see the agent at first, click the ^ arrow

If you are experiencing desktop/laptop issues take a screen shot by:

  • Ensure the problem you are experiencing is up on your screen
  • Find/Press the “Print screen” button on your keyboard (typically located next to “Scroll Lock”)
  • Right-Click inside the body of a new email and hit “Paste”

Each time you log in to a company computer you will be asked to enter two sets of IDs and passwords:

1.For the first one, the local machine, click on the ProPT User. The password is always 1999.

2.Once logged on to the local computer, look for and click on the icon labeled Citrix, it looks like this →

3.To log into Citrix, you will need to use your network ID and password. Your network ID is the first initial of your first name + your last name (e.g Mickey Mouse would be MMouse and George Washington would be GWashington). You will then receive a temporary password to log-in

4.Upon your first successful login, you will be prompted to change your network password.

5.After login into Citrix, open the Outlook email client and read the welcome email in your Inbox for instructions and helpful information.

Note: If you belong to Corporate, please use Log In Instructions placed on your desk.

Access to email on any smart phones or other mobile devices is allowed but only through the use of the Citrix Mobile Device Management platform.  Your account has been pre-configured on the server-side, but requires some actions from your smart phone or tablet.

  • To get started, search for and install the Citrix Secure Hub from the app store for your smart phone – Apple and Android are supported.  This is a free download.
  • Once you have downloaded Secure Hub, open the application and enter the address of the enrollment server – https://mdm.professionalpt.com.  Then follow the steps and prompts on your phone.
